WINDMILL LAJARES

Our accommodation for solo travellers and couples

This house for 2 people, located right in the centre of Lajares, is spread over two floors. On the lower level of the surf accommodation, you will find the dining and living area as well as a bathroom with a window, shower and towels. A wooden staircase leads to the upper level, where a cosy double bed and various storage options await you. Of course, you also have your own router with free Wi-Fi.

The outdoor area of the accommodation offers both a covered and an open space, so sun lovers and those looking for some shade can both enjoy themselves. The covered area has seating, a small barbecue area and two sun loungers. For anyone planning a surf holiday with children, having a washing machine in the accommodation is particularly useful. It is, of course, available for you to use free of charge.

The house with its large garden has its own parking space and plenty of storage options, should you arrive with your own surfboard. In the immediate surroundings, you will find good cafés and international restaurants. A supermarket, pharmacy, organic shop and local handmade shops complete the typical charm of Lajares. Every Saturday, you can find a small vegetable stall and creative craft stalls at the weekly market. Lajares, also known as “Surfcity”, is equally close to all coastal areas, which are less than 10 minutes away by car. That is why we usually start our daily surf courses from here and pick you up directly at your accommodation.

Our “Windmill” accommodation is particularly suitable for couples who appreciate peace and privacy while still wanting to experience everything Lajares has to offer. A converted windmill is something special – even here on Fuerteventura.
