OUR INTERMEDIATE SURF COURSE

It is particularly important to us that you get your money's worth. Please always communicate openly with us if something is on your mind, if you need more help, if you are afraid or if you have any questions. We want you to feel comfortable. This is only possible without pressure and with plenty of fun.

In our intermediate surf course, you can try out different sizes and shapes of hardboards in the water. We have various hardboards ranging from 5.8 to 9.6 feet. If you are still unsure, we also have suitable softboards and hybrid boards with a solid epoxy core.

We will teach you how to use and handle a hardboard correctly, or alternatively a modern softboard. This also includes learning more about the equipment and how it works. This includes practical questions such as: How do I get my board onto the car? How do I put the fins on my board? This is especially useful if you are also planning to rent a board.

We deepen your surfing of green, unbroken waves in both directions – frontside and backside. You will learn the correct take-off for different wave shapes, including steep and flatter waves. And of course, you will also fail mercilessly sometimes ;) It is also important to learn sound paddling techniques to help prevent shoulder problems such as impingement. During the intermediate surf course, we actively improve your foot position while surfing and work on your bottom turn after starting into the waves.

The diagonal take-off, both before and during the take-off, gradually moves you in the direction of advanced surfing. You will already start practising this during the intermediate surf course. We also show you how to surf and fall safely on reefs during short theory sessions. You will learn about the best entry and exit points, channels and how to read different surf spots correctly.

Our photo sessions also help you to record your progress and see how your surfing develops.
