We divide our private surf offers into two different categories. It is important to understand the difference between a private surf courseand private surf coaching. The right option depends on your surfing level and your individual needs. If you are a beginner, we offer a private surf course outside our regular group courses. If you are an advanced surfer, we can offer you individual 1-to-1 coaching. We will discuss your goals and what you would like to improve with you beforehand.

Whatever your reason for choosing a private surf course, we have a suitable option for you. Of course, you also receive plenty of personal attention in our regular surf courses, as we generally keep our groups small.

You are an intermediate surfer and want to improve through private surf coaching?

After a few years of noticeable progress, many surfers reach a point where their development starts to slow down. The flow is gone and you feel like you are hardly improving anymore. You have mastered the basics, such as angled take-offs, generating speed and solid top turns and bottom turns. At the end of your holiday, however, you may find yourself at exactly the same level as the year before. Then the same thing happens again on your next holiday. You are not quite sure which adjustments you need to make to finally have that real “aha” moment again. For many surfers, their skills stagnate after reaching a certain level and they simply don't know how to move forward, despite their efforts. Here are some examples of why surfers choose intensive private coaching:

Often, we are not able to recognise or change our own patterns and habits. This is where an experienced coach can make a real difference. During our private surf courses, your surf coach can either accompany you in the water throughout the session or take photos together with our photographer, depending on the session. Afterwards, we analyse and discuss the photos together. This allows us to identify unconscious patterns and technical mistakes that are difficult to notice while surfing. Before the course begins, we discuss your individual goals and expectations with you personally.

For private surf courses for children, an additional surf instructor looks after the children exclusively. The maximum supervision is 3 children per instructor, and prices vary depending on the individual requirements. Prices can be requested by email. The minimum age is around 8 years, depending on the child's size and physical development. Lessons can be arranged very individually depending on availability, including outside our regular opening hours. The most important things when booking your private surf course are trust, honesty and clear communication. Individuality and specific learning goals are the key to successful private coaching. With a well-planned approach, you can often see noticeable progress after just a few sessions. Private surf lessons only make sense when they are planned together and honestly. This allows us to set a realistic goal that you can work towards during your private surf sessions.

You can also book a private surf course as a group. For groups of 4 or more people, we are happy to provide you with your own surf coach.
