JENS SCHNEIDER

Jens Schneider, a former student of the German Sports University of Cologne, was at a crossroads. When office jobs no longer inspired him, he came across the Surf Institute and found his calling. September 2003 - La Pared: The squeaky entrance door of the former Cowabunga Surf School swings open. A long-haired man with oversized surfboards embodies the true essence of a surfer at the entrance, a living legend. But humor creeps in when he speaks. ;)

Fast forward to September 2023, Jens has evolved into Jens Wave Charger and Big Wave Longboarder. Still strongly connected to his alma mater, Jens now thrives as a tour guide in Fuerteventura, taking care of guests with horseback rides, check-ins, and a warm welcome at our surf shop, The Rising Kook.

Known for his decades-long passion for riding waves Down the Line, Jens' heart truly belongs to dogs! Well, and rumor has it he has a weakness for beer and other mysterious interests. What sets Jens apart is his genuine authenticity and refusal to sell winter jackets in the summer (even if they are traveling to New Zealand).
